His other adventures have included cycling some of the classic climbs of the Tour de France, participating in the world's richest triathlon in Abu Dhabi, brutalised by the Salomon Skyrun, gobsmacked by the beautiful Hi-Tec Otter African Trail Run, suffering in the peleton at the Tour de Eden, riding in the clouds at the Thin Air Challenge, scrambling on beaches at the Imana Wild Ride, battling winds at Totalsports Challenge and enjoying assorted events in all nine sports the magazine covers.

His main aim in life is to find what is lacking in endurance sport enthusiasts' lives and provide the solutions.
