Oakley JawboneFriday, 19 March 2010 11:50 Oakley JawboneOakley’s SwitchLock is a new lens change system that disengages the lower part of the frame rim to allow access for quick lens changing, letting the wearer optimise performance in different light conditions.
The design holds the lenses with a suspension system, preventing possible stresses on the frame from affecting the optics. The pivoting system also allows the wearer to remove and replace the nosepiece with a different size to customise the fit. Available in nine colour and lens options, the Jawbone caused a stir on its release. Burry Stander has been riding with a lumo-green pair and that other Oakley cyclist, Lance whatshisname Armstrong, wore a pair at the recent Tour of California. Oakley SA 0861OAKLEY (625539)
