Probike and Scott align ever closer
Probike shareholders Peter Miller and Brandon Els have jointly decided to structure the future of Probike South Africa and India under the Scott Group umbrella.
Scott is a world leader in the development, manufacturing, sales and marketing of high-end performance products intended for biking, winter sport, motor sport and running. Scott is a 100% management owned company, with over 450 employees and distribution in more than 50 countries. Probike turns 75 years old in 2011 and is the successful distributor of global bicycle industry brands as well as its own product lines to independent dealers and retail chain stores. Probike is the largest bicycle distributor in Africa.
Peter Miller is the outgoing Chairman of Probike. He has dedicated the past 40 years of his life building Probike step by step and is respected by all in the bicycle industry for his experience, wisdom and business acumen.

Brandon Els will continue to lead the team in Scott Africa and India and reports directly to Beat Zaugg, CEO of the group. "We welcome Brandon in our international management team and are happy to be equity partners with him in Probike and Scott."
