Ocean Racing Series World Champs
A great opportunity for you to take part in a World Championship event.
This event is OPEN TO ALL, and we ask for you to support the 2010 MTN Nelson Mandela Bay Splash Festival and in particular the inaugral Ocean Racing Series World Championships.
The World Champs takes place next Saturday (3rd April) at Hobie Beach with a 2km Ocean Swim at 10am, a 6km Ocean Paddle around 11am and a 5km Beach Run around 12 noon. There will be World Championship medals for all finishers and top 3 medals for men and ladies in all three race and in the age groups.
For the 5km Beach Run we have increased the age group categories to include 8 years and under, 10 years and under, 13 and under as well as the usual over 40 and over 50 age group categories. We hope that this will encourage families to get their young kids to join them on the run.
