2011 course should suit SA paddlers

With the World Champs moving to the East for the first time, Singapore is really trying to pull out all the stops. The Floating Platform (that can host Soccer games) will be the centre point of the event with the portages taking place across this unique structure. Take a look at the ramp up from the jetty and then down on to the platform – this is sure to suit the strong portaging of the SA athletes.

World Marathons will be held from 20 to 23 October 2011 (slightly later this year to miss the heat) and all paddlers should give making the national team a full go. The Master classes have traditionally brought home many medals and their great efforts set the stage for the Juniors and Seniors to excel.
