Tour Durban celebrates cycling over three days

Durban is gearing up for the 2011 AQUELLE TOUR DURBAN CYCLE RACE and this year promises to be bigger and better, say organisers.

Three events will be staged over three days in and around the beautiful city of Durban, spoiling cyclists and mountain bikers for choice.  

"The event takes place over a long weekend and with the best weather of the year, Durban will certainly be the place to bring the family and enjoy a cycling event like no other," says event organiser Wally Bodin.

Race details:

Friday 29 April 2011                       
Criterium for Pro Elite Top Club Riders at Gateway Theatre of Shopping
(First 50 entries received)

Saturday 30 April 2011                   
Mountain Bike Race starting at Gateway Theatre of Shopping
45km, 20km and 5km fun ride

Sunday 1 May 2011                        
Road Race starting and finishing at Moses Mabhida Stadium
125km (Pro Elite Top Club Riders), 105km and 45km
