BMC riders move on to 360Life and Team RE:CM

BMC South Africa, imported and distributed by WSquared Cycling, has a strategy to identify and develop promising mountain bikers in South Africa and then provide them with a springboard from where they can achieve their goals and dreams to become professional cyclists and champions in their chosen disciplines.
It is thus a pleasure to announce that two of the most promising mountain bikers in South Africa have, through our programme of nurturing and support, attracted the attention of high-profile professional teams for 2012.

James Reid (Mr.Price/BMC), the 2011 African Continental Under23 Cross Country (XCO) Champion and SA Cross Country Cup Series winner will be joining the 360-Life team from next year.

Luke Roberts (BMC), the 2011 SA Junior Cross Country and Marathon Champion as well as the SA Cross Country Cup Series winner will be joining Team RE:CM from next year.

We are extremely proud of them and are pleased that WSquared and BMC have been able to contribute to their development. We know that they will continue to grow and become great ambassadors for South African mountain biking in the world in years to come.

Both James and Luke’s last race for their current sponsor (MrPrice/BMC & BMC) will be in December this year.
