Be a part of the legend - Chase the Storm!
Just short of one hundred enthusiastic MultiSport athletes will run the OTTER followed by a further five days of Trail Running and MTBing with a spectacular finish in the main street of Plettenberg Bay on Friday the 1st of October. You can be a part of the action too, here is how...
The Southern Storm - 6 Day Multisport Race - is taking place in its second year on the doorstep of Plettenberg Bay at the end of this month.
You can be a part of the action by taking part in the fun challenge. It is a 5km urban TRAIL RUN starting and finishing in Plettenberg Bay Main Road on friday, 1st of October 2010 .
The Southern Storm athletes are some of the best Multi Sport Athletes in the country - however once they come to the start of the Final Trail Run they would have had approx. 100km of Trail Running and 250km of Mountain biking over a period of 6 days in their legs.
Here is YOUR chance to be part of the action and rub shoulders with the stars of South African multisport in the Sport & Nature Captial of Africa - and maybe beat these top athletes entering the PLETT STORM CHASER Trail run on fresh legs.
This is how it will work:
The STORMERS will compete in a MTB and a Trail Run in the morning of that day and then proceed to do their FINAL CHALLENGE, a 5 km urban TRAIL RUN starting and finishing in PLETTENBERG BAY Main Road at 3.00pm .
We want YOU to be there to support these outstanding athletes when they finish the SOUTHERN STORM.
Once the STORMERS are back at the finish, the STORM CHASERS - that is YOU - will run the exact same urban TRAIL RUN trying to beat the STORMERS best time.
