Evans makes Duesouth XTERRA debut

South African mountain bike marathon champion Kevin Evans will make his DUESOUTH XTERRA debut on Thursday, 8 July when he takes on the DUESOUTH XTERRA Knysna presented by REHIDRAT at the magnificent Pezula Private Estate.

According to Evans, XTERRA Knysna will be his very first off-road duathlon. “I used to race road duathlons when I was still at school and really enjoyed it. I live between Knysna and Plettenberg Bay so I am familiar with all the mountain bike routes in the surrounding area. But I am not too sure what to expect from the run disciplines though and will just have to take it as it comes. I have only heard good things about XTERRA, so I decided to give it a go. My plan is to just have fun,” says Evans.

XTERRA Knysna is the only DUESOUTH XTERRA event that does not feature a water discipline. Athletes can participate individually or in teams of two.
