Sunrise Run Series going strongMonday, 24 May 2010 10:01 Race course marking and marshalls seems to be spot on as no one has got lost (that we know of) and no one has complained of not knowing where they are going. We feel this is a very important aspect of the Sunrise run experience. The run should feel like an adventure without you continuously wondering if you are on the right track. Prizes and host venue's seem bang on. The Sunrise Run Series consist of Moderate off road run races at Sunrise in unique settings. The races are positioned at the space between traditional road races (straight forward) and trail run races (extreme) IE Moderate off road running races at sunrise. These races are designed to inspire you to remember what it felt like to run like you used to as a child. To simply run as long and hard as you could before being called in for supper. So what makes the Sunrise run series unique? 1. Two Course Options: 5km, 10km each race 2. Focus on appealing to wide range of people. Even those who have long since hung up their running shoes. 3. Cracking out at Sunrise for a trot. You Just Know you are going to have a good day after your Sunrise run. 4. Moderate(easy/achievable) courses. 5. TRAIL Running Shoes are NOT REQUIRED 6. Bring your own Hydration (Fluids provided after the race BUT not on the Course) 7. Unique"runner Grading System"which acknowledges that not everyone is an Elite athlete BUT everone has a competitive spirit(even if it is dormant) 8.Grading system which focuses on every individuals performance and provides a clear feedback system. 9. Weekly Prizes by Grades 10. Extensive Prize Template. Click Here to see Race Prize a Template 11.
