Sandes wins PUFFER trail run in record timeMonday, 23 August 2010 09:52 Sandes wins PUFFER in record timeDesert Storm runner Ryan Sandes won the 2010 Hi-Tec Puffer Ultra Marathon in dramatic weather conditions in Cape Town. Not only did he win the 80km mountain race from Cape Point to the V&A Waterfront he did so in record time, lowering the previous record by more than 16 minutes. The new time now dips under 7 hours: 6 hours 57 minutes.The 80km Puffer is considered the Grand Daddy of Trail racing in South Africa and yet another accolade to add to Ryan’s impressive list of wins around the globe.
