Great Britain's Stuart Hayes rides to his first-ever Series win in the Austrian AlpsKitzbühel, Austria - 14 August 2010 - With a gutsy breakaway on the bike, Great Britain's Stuart Hayes stunned the field and stole the win at today's Dextro Energy Triathlon ITU World Championship Kitzbühel. The Brit was part of a five-man break on the bike, which was able to build a lead of over 1:40 at the second transition.

Colucci scores Brazil's first World Cup triathlon win in 12 yearsBrazil's Reinaldo Colucci has finished in the top seven of an ITU World Cup event on six previous occasions, but it wasn't until Sunday that he scored his first World Cup win. Colucci started the run over a minute behind the lead pack, but used a blazing 30:23 10km run to pull out the win. It is the first World Cup win for a Brazilian in 12 years, and capped off a big day for Brazil, as countrywoman Carla Moreno finished third in the women's race. It's Tiszy time for World Cup triathletesThe Hungarian city of Tiszaujvaros will host the sixth round of the 2010 ITU World Cup season this Sunday, marking the 14th consecutive year that "Tiszy", as it's often referred to, has hosted a World Cup. The event is renowned for having some of the best spectator support on the World Cup circuit, as thousands of locals jam the streets year after year to catch some of the action.

Duathlon doubles in size in Port ElizabethSunday 1 August 2010: Round 4 of the Momentum Health I-Flex National Duathlon Series took place at Pollock Beach in the Friendly City of Port Elizabeth in the Eastern Cape.
