Cut-off for Spec-Savers Ironman South Africa entries is here

Entries to the seventh Spec-Savers Ironman South Africa are closing at midnight on Tuesday 8 March 2011 so if you want to compete for the title of Ironman, get online now and enter. It is one of the biggest events in Nelson Mandela Bay and it is right around the corner. This means one thing – athletes and spectators can look forward to a day of serious racing and also serious excitement.

Any Ironman athlete will tell you that the feeling of being out there amongst peers and professionals is unlike anything you’ll ever experience. And the feeling of crossing the finish line is an entirely different one altogether.

Each year the numbers grow as the event becomes ever more popular and more people try their hand at the growing sport of triathlon. It is therefore no coincidence that Ironman is the event of choice as it is the pinnacle of the sport of triathlon. Once these athletes have completed an Ironman there is no looking back as they are then inducted into an elite group of people all over the world. Ironman is a global culture and one that lives with you for as long as you live.
